Natalie Sellers

Natalie Sellers currently serves as the Senior Law Enforcement Risk Consultant with Local Government Risk Management Services in Georgia. Before joining LGRMS in 2013, Natalie worked for 15 years for the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles.  Since beginning with the Board in 1998, Natalie has held numerous positions that have helped prepare her for her current role with LGRMS. 

After starting her career in 1998, Natalie became a General Instructor in 2005 and shortly thereafter attended and completed Defensive Tactics Instructor training.  She has served as an adjunct instructor for The Parole Training Academy since 2005 and assisted with course development and delivery to all new parole officer trainees, as well as in-service training throughout the State.  In 2008, she became a firearms instructor, and in 2012 she completed Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor training.  She became a full-time academy instructor for the Board in 2011 and served her remaining tenure in training until she retired in 2013.

Natalie has also held numerous other positions during her tenure with the Board, including Field Training Officer, Arrest Team Supervisor, Detachment to the Crimes Suppression Unit, FBI Gang Task Force, U. S. Marshalls, as well as Assistant Chief of the Macon Parole Office.  Natalie was an active member of the Georgia Parole Association, where she served as both Secretary and Vice President and was awarded Parole Officer of the Year. 

Natalie has been working with LGRMS since 2013.  She began as a Loss Control Representative and then became the first Law Enforcement Risk Consultant for LGRMS.  She has spent countless hours in training for loss control and law enforcement liability through courses offered by LLRMI. She holds certifications in De-Escalation and Use of Force Analyst Training from the Force Science Institute, Georgia Chief’s Executive Training class, and recently completed FBINAA Leadership Training certification. 

Natalie completed her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Augusta State University in Augusta, Georgia, and her master’s in criminal justice from Troy University in Alabama.
