Dennis joined Local Government Risk Management Services in October 2002 and serves as the Eastern Georgia Field Representative. Prior to joining Local Government Risk Management Services, Dennis was a contract instructor for the National Safety Council, and the Department Safety Coordinator for a 700 employee Public Works, Water and Sewer Department for the last four years. He managed a staff of division safety representatives and was responsible for all department safety and loss control activities. Dennis has a BS Degree from Georgia State University in secondary education. He is a retired US ARMY Officer and one of the training programs he attended was the Combat Safety Officer Course where he learned to apply safety principles under combat situations. Dennis is a Certified Instructor for the National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course
